Welcome to Gabe's Chemo Duck Program!
Gabe's Chemo Duck Program is a standardized, comprehensive education system for children and families coping with childhood cancer.
Currently Gabe's Chemo Duck Program includes:
CHEMO DUCK
A soft 12" play therapy tool used to teach children about cancer treatment.
BILINGUAL MINI BOOK
A 3 ½ inch mini book containing useful ideas to introduce parents to Chemo
Duck and offer some ideas for how to 
best use him as a teaching tool.
ACTIVITY BOOK
Gabe's My Heart has worked with child life specialists, social workers and
psychologists to create an Activity Book that is both thought provoking and
educational. The book is designed to deal with each topic in several
different ways and appeal to children of all ages. Read more about the Activity Book!
DR. GABE EDUCATIONAL MINI DISK
The disk includes the story behind Chemo Duck, information and tips to help
parents navigate through the first weeks of treatment and a DVD produced by
Culver Productions.
The DVD assists parents by:
• Reinforcing that parents have an active role in their child's cancer care.
• Giving parents ideas of how to best use Chemo Duck as an effective medical
teaching tool.
• Showing chemo ducks ability to alleviate fears.
• Giving parents a sense of hope and encouraging them to take a positive
attitude towards their child's treatment.
